    Mrs. YY Kimcheng

    Mrs. YY Kimcheng and her husband Mr. Bunthoeun run a tailor business for almost 10 years in Kampong Cham province. Their business keeps growing from day to day. Now they can provide a job to 12 peoples in their community. Intending to expand her business and also to have a proper home for her family, YY Kimchheng and her husband Mr. Bunthoeun decided to buy a new house in 2018. With the combined their savings and housing loan from First Finance, they had a bigger house for her family as well as the business. At the same time Mrs. Kimcheng and her husband decided to take out another loan to purchase more material and equipment to expand their business. “Home is very important to us. It is not only a shelter for my family but it also my business place where I can generate income to support my family”. Cambodia was hit by the pandemic in 2020 and 2021; some businesses were temporary closed or event bankrupt. Kimchheng’s business like others, the income from tailor dropped 80%. “That was the hard time for us. We have a problem with the cash flow even we switch our sales channel from direct sales to online” Mr. Bunthoeun said “I would like to say thank you to First Finance for reducing our repayment burden for 6 months. It helps us a lot as we can have some money to support the family and pay to my staff. Luckily in Q4 in 2021, many restrictions were lifted, Now my business is back to normal” Mr. Bunthoeun added.
