Senior Credit Officer

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Senior Credit Officer is responsible for executing the annual lending plan and sales strategy of all loan products with close working relationship with all staff in branch to ensure each achieve high level of productivity and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clients screening and loan appraising
• Promoting and Marketing the First Finance’s image and products
• Preparing loan application and educating clients about the terms and conditions of the loans
• Ensuring that loans are repaid according to the schedule
• Solving problem with bad clients
• Analyzing, processing and recommend financial applications for approval
• Reviewing and processing all new applications within the stipulated turnaround time
• Ensure all applications approved are of quality accounts and adhering to the policy and guidelines as set out by the First Finance
• Evaluating, validating information and documentations via telephone interviews, reports and onsite interviews
• Assisting with internal or external enquiries regarding financial matters
• Checking and ensuring completeness of the application forms and documents
• Visiting and monitoring clients for repayment
• Managing and maintaining client relationship, client loyalty through high quality service
• Preparing and maintaining relevant report.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Degree in a related business management, finance or related.
• Experience in credit operation, credit assessment, properties valuation, credit control, credit supervisor and other risk related.
• 1-2 Years’ Experience in similar role or preferably from MFI/Bank.
• Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment and trustworthiness.
• Takes ownership and accountability for results.
• Fiscal Responsibility/Initiative/Thoroughness.
• Commitment to the First Finance goal, mission and values.
